Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear black with an orange hue and a creamy, beige and lacing head. Sweet roast nose with distinct anise. Hardly more than a medium body, sweet roast and again quite a licoricey touch. Some malt bitterness. Smooth and crowd pleasing candy Stout. 280423

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear, nutty brown with a creamy, beige head. Sweet crystal malts, molasses and some oxidation. Rich, sweet, malty body with plenty of brown sugar notes, toffee and biscuits. Warming alcohol finish. According to the label, this should be a Brown Ale - I would call it a Barley Wine. Lovely crowd pleaser. 280423

Jens Smagning (03/02/2023) - fruity and malty with some grapefruit and pine, some hop spice, medium body with a bee sweet malty backbone, feels overly boozy strong for the abv, warming malty and hoppy close.
