473mL can. Pours hazy yellow with white head. Aroma has tons of dank and pine hops, pale malts, citrus. Flavour has pine, citrus peel, some dankness; malts are a bit flaky. Mouthfeel is a bit sludgy. Falls short on the promise of the nose. Still very solid, but falls a bit flat.

16 oz. can, pours a minimally hazy blonde with a small white head. Aroma is somewhat dank, pine needles, biscuity malt, and a touch of resins. Flavour falls a bit flat: there's some earthiness, a touch of pine, bready malt, light oiliness, and a hint of melon. A bit too earthy and lacking vibrance, but not bad.

Pale and hazy. The aroma has a lot of sulphur. On the palate, it's fairly bitter, with a hint of citrus. The malt is somewhat thin, but it works in context for this beer. I'd like maybe a bit brighter hop expression, as I mostly get some sulphur...the more oniony ones are dominating the c-hops here, to the detriment of overall balance.

16 oz can poured, picked up at Hop and Hound. Definitely excited for this one. Tried and true brewery when it comes to fresh hops, killer can design. The hype has been set. Clean and clear golden pour in this completely non hazy, incredible IPA. Thin but lasting head. Layered aroma with gentle pine, cool citrus, bright melon. Overall a forest first nose. A touch crisp on front, but this has a more dense body throughout, and is just full of incredible mild bitter citrus, juicy melon, and cool pine flavors. Full array. Somewhat sessionable feel at 6.3%, makes this an absolute crusher of a fresh hop IPA. Model for the style. Incredible beer.

On tap at Chuck's CD, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma has soft earthy hops, light pine, and doughy malt — pretty gentle. Flavour is soft and lightly juicy, with piney hops, some dankness, and a fluffy doughy malt base. So soft and yet aggressively hopped and well-balanced. Excellent.

On tap at Chuck's CD, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma is very dank, with lots of pot-like hops, fresh doughy malt, and crisp biscuity notes. Flavour is very soft on the palate, with subtle but penetrating dank hops, soft pine, and doughy malt. Very nice use of the hops, with a very soft finish. Very good.

On tap at Single Hill - Commons, pours an opaque yellow with a small white head. Aroma is dank in the hop department, with lots of stone fruit pith and pot-like hops. Flavour is very green, with lots of pithy stone fruits, dank hops, and hopburn. Messy and uncoordinated. Not very good.
