Last of the Hamburg souvenirs. Clear brow/chestnut pur with a stable tan head. Aroma is smoked malt (quite a bit of it), licquorice, some coffee and cocoa. Taste is roasted malt, cream, cocoa, coffee, caramel/toffee, even a hint of smoked ham. Nice one.

Smell of dried fruit, hops,. Hazy bronze colour, small beige head. Aroma of caramalt, hops, faint menthol, licorice, faint fruity note. Nuts in finish. Medium carbon. Medium sweet, lightly bitter. Good.

Huge thanks to WillemsUrenkel for that one! Bottle looks good. Beer in the glass dark brown, nice head. Intense malty-stouty aroma. Starts strong-malty, earthy notes, heavy malty, shy sweetish hints. Notes of wood. Finish well balanced. Goes down warming. Really nice!
