Ein kräftiger Doppelbock, präsentiert sich mit einer beeindruckenden Tiefe und Komplexität. Schon beim ersten Schluck entfalten sich intensive Röstaromen, die an frisch gemahlenen Kaffee erinnern. Diese werden harmonisch ergänzt durch feine Noten von dunkler Schokolade und Karamell, die dem Bier eine angenehme Süße verleihen. Huge thanks to WillemsUrenkel for that one! Bottle looks good. Beer in the glass dark brown, nice head. Intense malty-stouty aroma. Starts strong-malty, earthy notes, heavy malty, shy sweetish hints. Notes of wood. Finish well balanced. Goes down warming. Really nice!

Bottle from the Winter 25/26 Sixpack. BB 1.7.26, 7.7%, so I assume it is this entry still. Dark brown, dark golden brown head. Light oxidized, roasted nose, walnut, burnt sugar. Rusty metallic on the palate, cocoa, caramel, licorice, somewhat sticky sugary, burnt caramel finish. Intense, Could be rounder.

Bottle, best before 1 07 26. Dark brown, cappuccino head. Caramel, malt, a tad melanoidin, metallic, oxidised, bread. Front heavy, fizzy, then a bit flat. Oily, warm, malty sweet; chocolate raisins, chalky coffee.

Virtually black with a creamy, beige head. Big licorice aroma with undertones of molasses and coffee. Taste is burnt bitter with subtle, sweet undertones. Long, bitter finish with a hint of vanilla. Full bodied, mild carbonation. Good one.
