Appleton skins and hand lotion. Don't love the vibe of the latter I'm getting here. Pours very pale golden with quickly disappearing bubbles. Not super sweet. Finish is just a touch tangy, but kind of empty. Can.

@ Bad Seed BK. Tulip pour. Clear, pale gold. Light spritz. Sour apricot & white wine nose. Yeasty, half tart, bright but not overbearing acidity. Creamy middle, green grapes, lightweight, lingering. A little too yeasty, but overall Okay.

Clear golden brown spirit poured into a double shot glass. Smell is toffee & spiced fruit cake. Faintly apple. Toffee, oxidation, maple, rum, apples macerated in brandy, molasses. Faint tartness when it warms. Soft, plush mouthfeel. Needs more apple flavor. Though it has great texture, it is missing some character. French is still king.

Bottle from the New Amsterdam Market. I have notes on my phone from having this at Astor Wine’s Applepalooza a couple years back. They didn’t have a website then, & it was impossible to upload. They just started selling locally finally.
Low-ball shaped, thin, plastic tasting glass. Dusty wheat color, sparkling.
Light/soft floral, hay-ish, yeasty nose.
Taste is earthy apples, a saline sort of bite, with a good tannic core bitterness.
Texture is dusty, bubbly, & just a touch gritty. Decently hidden alcohol.
Very decent, but not really all that flavorful. Better then a lot of new ciders these days, but the price is a bit of a deterrent.

Wine glass. Solid pour. Cloudy. Semi-tart scent. Dry grass/fields.
Yeasty & tart. A bit empty. Fairy generic & dry. Bittersweet aftertaste. Great bite. A great cleanser.
Served alongside a pommeau that overpowered it with heat & blahs.
