Bottle. Black. Pours a huge head. Malt, caramel, roast and coffee in the aroma. Full bodied. Malty sweetish with caramel, lots of licorice. Tasty, but some raw edges and a questionable balance. Thanks Benzai!

Brouwsel 40, thuis geprobeerd met LiekevdV. Het is een goudgeel bier met een volle witte schuimkraag. Het heeft een moutige wat fruitige geur. De smaak is moutig, gistachtig met een wat bittere afdronk.

33cl bottle. A clear orange brown beer with a mid-sized most good lasting beige head. Aroma of dried dark fruits, caramel, dark malt, raisins. Taste of dark riped fruits, red fruits, raisins, caramel, slightly boozy.

Bottle. Hazy brown color with beige head. Aroma is aromatic coffee ground, green bell peppers, light chocolate. Taste is coffee ground, chocolate, lightly sticky stuff. Silky mouthfeel with fine-bubbled carbonation. Good one, maybe just a bit too sticky.

Bottle. Color: Copper, very thin beige head. Aroma: Sweetish, malty, hints of caramel. Taste: Medium to over medium sweet, very malty, sugar, caramel, hints of raisins, very lightly hints of dark red fruit. Alcohol is well hidden. Medium to under medium body, average carbonation. No gusher over here. Dangerously easy drinkable, tasting like a Dubbel, lacking taste and complexity, too malty. On the low rating side of the Quadrupel style.
