16oz can pours a clear garnet amber, head fades fast, faint legs. Big malt nose.... loads of barley, some cake, very sweet tea, chestnut honey. Flavor has barley and walnut liqueur, sweet tea. Missing some hop or something to balance. Medium full bodied, sweet finish. Feels imbalanced.

Pint at the brewery pours a deep black, Grey head. Nose has malt and molasses. More coffee here than the brown ale. Toast and malt. Big malt and bread and molasses in the mouth. Chewy grains. Some coffee grounds. Medium full, just off dry. 6 4 7 4 13

Side pull at the brewery. Nose has tootsie Roll and cocoa and brown malts. Coffee feels distant. Dimpled mug is a murky brown, no head. Flavor is malt and tootsie roll. It's a bit simple and a bit sweet. Thin too. 6 2 6 3 14

16oz can pours a thicccccc purple with some blueish brown thick head. Crazy looking. Nose is blueberry pie and maple syrup, oats, vanilla, floral notes. Flavor is jammy, blueberry, cherry vanilla ice cream, sugary granola bar. Chewy. Starchy. Blueberry-y. Sweet finish.

16 ounce can from brewery. Hazy orange gold pour. Large, pillowy white head. Fruity aroma of sweet citrus, mango and fresh cut grass. Flavor hints at stone fruit, citrus and green herbs. Notes of mango, grapefruit and tangerine. Medium bodied. Dry finish with slight bitterness.
