Bottle from Hausmann Getränke. Very lightly hazy gold, moderate head. Nose: ripening grain, fresh cut sweet hay, subtle but great. The flavor is a big blend of grain complexity. It finishes dry with super smooth bitterness and earthy/forest floor hops notes. Now I remember why I drank too much of this from a party keg at a tasting last year...

0,5l bottle at home bought from Bierothek Vienna. golden clear color, small white head. smells corn, bit vegetal, spices, peppery, earthy. nice smell. full body, soft carbonation. tastes peppery, spices, herbal, rye, grainy, corn. finishes light to medium bitter with notes of tobacco, corn and grainy notes. bit heavy on the grainy / bready notes, good but also expected a bit more.

0,5l bottle at home bought from Bierothek Vienna. BB 04/2022. dark yellow rather hazy color, medium big white head. smells grassy, earthy, light caramel, bready, tobacco, biscuits, flour. nice smell. full body, soft carbonation. tastes earthy, grassy, tobacco, peppery, some bread, rye, light corn sirup notes. finishes light to medium bitter with notes of corn, peppery and tobacco notes. Pretty good one, but not as good as expected. Bit too heavy on the corn notes. Also drinks almost a tad heavy / not super refresing. overall good stuff though.

--Keg at Zum Franziskaner, Stockholm. -- Hazy pale amber, rich firm head. Grassy, malty nose. Dry with medium body and well rounded mouthfeel. Bready malt, plenty of floral, grassy hops. Long bitter finish.

On tap at HopDog. Reddish gold, moderate head, nice spicy hops with a backbone of very tasty grain and a hint of sweetness. Really smooth bitterness that is just much tastier than the average Märzen. Four thumbs up, I didn't realize I have so many, great!

Bottle from Hausmann Getränke. Clear gold, nice head, spicy malty nose. Gray crisp and clean flavor, lightly sweet/suffig, earthy hops notes with a lasting complexity of malt overtones in three aftertaste. What a great Helles!

500 ml bottle from Bierothek Wien. Golden-amber, slightly hazy body, with a big, creamy, light beige head. Aroma of grains, white bread, biscuit, flowers, cereals, some sweet fruits, some honey. Tastes similar, with some more crisp herbal notes. Medium, creamy mouthfeel, with an average carbonation. Finishes smooth, crisp, medium sweet, medium bitter, a bit dry, floral, herbal, grassy, cerealic, a bit mineralic. Tasty. Extremely smooth, with just enough bitterness and rustic notes to balance the sweet, creamy malt body. Another very quaffable, characterful Lager by Knoblach I could drink all day! Score: 8 / 4 / 8 / 4 / 16

Amber with a frothy, white head. Earthy, malty, herbal with pepper and caramel undertones. Taste is moderate bitter with a grainy finish. Medium-bodied, moderate carbonation. Refreshing.
