Description
The Knoblach inn has been in Schammelsdorf since 1880 and it has been brewing there for about this long. Today Michael Knoblach is the resident master brewer. The Knoblachs are deeply rooted in their homeland and maintain good contact with regional suppliers and farmers. They attach great importance to preserving and actively promoting the diversity of the Bamberg region. For this purpose, the raw materials are, as far as possible, bought exclusively from the region. This not only has the advantage of boosting the domestic economy, but is also reflected in the quality. The ingredients couldn't be fresher.

Langer, herb-nussig-karamelliger Abgang. Mehr davon! 10/12/13/13/12/13

500ml bottle. Clear, yellow-ish, golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Minimally grainy, strawy, pale malty and minimally fruity hoppy aroma, a cautious touch of green apple, gooseberry, white grapes. Taste is mellow, biscuity, minimally strawy, pale malty, minimally fruity hoppy, a touch of green apple, light bitterness, a mineral touch. Minimally oily, watery texture, smooth and soft, silky palate, very fine and soft carbonation. Very clean, refreshing, highly drinkable - good!

Bottle, HopDog. Copper coloured, offwhite cream. Juicy malt, light caramel and hay aroma. Medium to full body, dry caramel on the palate, berry notes, mint, grassy herbal, caramel notes but lean, a crisp candied apple if that makes sense, moreish.

500ml Bottle - Light amber with a white head. Bready aroma with notes of rye, marmalade and floral hops. Clean taste with rye bread, marmalade, floral hops and a hint of caramel. Some hints of aniseed can be detected in the finish. Nicely balanced, easy to drink and very tasty.
