Bottle @ Mega Bavarian Beer Tasting in Schlitz. Hazy yellow appearance with a white head. Husky, grainy pale malty, straw aroma. Crisp, dry pale lager, hay, straw, dry flavor. Simple but easy to drink.

500 ml bottle thanks hugely to ErlangerNick. Clear gold lasting thick white head. Its pretty good. Lovely easy drinking strong lager. No alcohol heat to speak of but good malts full in mouth and good bitter hopped finish. Really rather good. Drunk in hotel room in Salzburg.

Bottle @ Bamberg. Pours clear pale yellow with a off white head. Citrus, grain and a twist of lemon. A bit of bread and grain. Not entirely bad!

Bottle @ Bierzwerg.de. Comes as Zwergla. Pours clear copper with a creamy head and lacings. Malty aroma. Lots of bread and caramel. Grainy malty flavor with a bit of fruit, bread and caramel. Medium bodied.

Bottle @ Bamberg. Pours clear dark golden with a small white lasting head and lacings. Grass, corn and hay. Very smooth palate. Balanced beer. Flavor is bread crust and fresh hops. Dry hoppy end.

Bottled 500ml (BB 03/2012, BZ)
Golden color, small white head. Woody, grassy, honeyish sweet malty aroma. Medium-bodied. Malty, grassy hoppy, a bit fruity. Finish and aftertaste is quite alcoholic. Standard straightforward heller bock.

(bottle) Clear, golden colour with a blond medium-sized foamy head. Biscuity and mildly grainy (cara-)malty aroma with herbal and slightly floral hoppy notes. Sweet-bitter flavour, medium to full bodied with a smooth carbonation. Delicately biscuity malty taste with present herbal hops drying-out the rounded malty and hoppy finish with a bearable alcoholic glimpse. Solid Franconian quality. 04.XII.11
