Description
We are a small blendery operation located at The Grainworks in Hertfordshire, UK. Our focus is on producing 100% spontaneously fermented beers aged in traditional vessels such as oak barrels.

The aim is to source our ingredients as close to the Blendery as possible. We work with farmers and growers directly, and promote their amazing produce through our beers, our website and social media.

Our work is seasonal. We brew in the cold months and fruit in the warm. Each beer we make is of that year. It is of that season and it cannot be replicated anywhere else in the world.

Can split at the first Canary Wharf / Westferry Circus tasting in 2.25 years ... who knew back then ... thanks to Fergus, 09/06/22. Cherry red with a light crimson cap that clears to the edge. Nose is cherry stones, funk, damp straw, wood must, dried red berries. Taste comprises wood must, funk, berry pips, straw, lemon rind, herb. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a modest acidic tickle. Decent approachable sour if lacking in complexity and I would have preferred a more acidic / sour profile to it.

Bottle shared in Canary Wharf - cheers to Fergus. Pours unclear red with a small, creamy white head. Lightly sweet, moderately funky, dried cherries, decent acidity. Light bodied with massaging carbonation. Fairly clean finish, more funk, a little bandaid, dried cherries. Nice overall.

Riverside Beer Fest 22. Aroma is pungent  - vinous and earthy. Hazy amber orange. Thin translucent white foamy head recedes. Vinous. Fruity yet earthy. Very sour. Medium bodied. Slick to oily. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Hits the spot.

Riverside Beer Fest 22. Aroma is vinous with definite peachy notes. Hazy-opaque gold. Thin translucent white head develops a bald spot. Heavy sour. Puckering. There is a sweet fruit element somewhere in the vinous wave. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Flat-soft carbonation. Long dry finish. Easy drinking despite the sourness.
