solsletta YG 220422. Amber color with a beige head. aroma is fruit, grass, caramel. Flavor is fruit, caramel, grass, pine, cellar note, alcohol, raisin, bread. Nice beer.

Can. An almost clear one, deep chestnut colored, with a firm, finger-thick dark beige head. The aroma is quite malty, with bread crust, toffee, raisin and prune. Some generic fruityness, grass and a vague hint of pine cones and dusty cellar. It's full-bodied, smooth and softly carbonated, with a good blend of sweetness and bitterness. A touch of alcohol too. Roasted malts, toffee, raisin and prunes, bread crust and some piney, grassy hops in the flavor. Perhaps a bit too much on the wort side in the finish. Anyway, it's rare to find a good bock from Norwegian micro breweries, this is sure one of them. Tasteful, quite complex yet easy drinkable. 220422

440ml can bought at Gulating Ølutsalg, Hamar, Shared with Leif Ståle and Dag Erik. Clear golden body under a rocky, well sized, white head, fair lacing. Moderate aromas of pale malts and herbal hops, semi sweet. Well blended taste character of bread-like malts and ripe fruits. Discreet bittersweet finish. Soft carbonated. Satisfying.
