Description
We are a craft beer brewery located in the Pays de Fayence in the Provence, Alps, Cote d'Azur region of France. Gekko Brewing Company was born from a love of good beer, family and friendship.
The Gekko adventure began in 2018 by brewing small batches in a garden shed (covered in geckos!) and in 2020 we moved in to our new premises ready for a full on launch into the world of brewing.
The Gekko team of five is made up of a group of family and friends (Scottish and Polish) with each member bringing their own passion and expertise to the team.
We try to reflect our region's natural beauty through our beers by using the highest quality base ingredients to produce a range of modern and traditional craft beers.
At Gekko we believe that there is a beer for everyone. Our beers range from fresh, light and hoppy pales ales, through characterful and bold IPAs, to Stouts and beyond.
Our mission is to educate about the wonders of craft beer to the uninitiated whilst also satisfying the demands of the ardent craft beer geek for beautifully crafted hop juice!
We love doing tastings and brewery visits with the community showcasing the wide range of flavours and aromas developed by our brewmasters. So come say hi and have a Gekko!

Pretty creamy mouthfeel. Med-full bod, low carbo. Med-high bitter, light-low sweet. Med cocoa, but kinda plain, boring, and no complexity. Goodish, definitely not greatish.

Tap at Prague Beer Fest 2026... the officially last beer I've had at the fest that year - and I figured it was the appropriate one to finish on. Love the design, the Gekko people are great - and, well, it's a cocoa-vanilla imperial stout... so, let's go! Blackish brown body, off-white ehad. Vanilla dominates the aroma over cocoa. The taste gave more vanilla and cocoa, but also some cinnamon notes on a full, but not overwhelming body ending with light bitterness. Good stuff by all means!

Tap at Pregue Beer Fest 2026. Golden body, off-white head. Resinous sweet aroma, some oxidation maybe. Smooth resin-.driven taste, maybe grapefruit, but I got some oxidation notes again, ends bitter. Still kinda nice, but not in perfect shape sadly...

Tap at Prague Beer Fest 2026. Tee hee, 7 Poètes rhymes! IIRC 2.0 is Riwaka-only so let's see. Hazy orange-golden body, off-white head. Tangerine dominates the aroma, floral, pungent, creamy - hmmm... not that herbal. Dry, creamy taste, tangerine and floral notes continue, ending with a bitterish finish. Maybe my favorite of their beers that day!

473ml can. Hazy, orange golden colour with average, fluffy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Citrusy fruity and resinous, hoppy aroma, wheaty and oaty, minimally spicy, malty background, hints of orange, a touch of blood orange, cheese, sweat. Taste is mildly bitter, citrusy fruity hoppy, oaty malty and minimally mealy, rye malty basis, notes of orange, mandarine, some blood orange, orange zest, subtle residual sweetness.
Creamy and oily texture, smooth and super soft, velvety, minimally greasy palate, very fine, dense, creamy carbonation.
Excellent mouthfeel, mediocre hop flavours - pretty good.
