Muddy blond color; big head. Light fruity aroma, with some banana. Medium body (or weak?), light sweetness and banana, easily drinkable but too simple.

Bottle (Danke, Stein am Rhein!): Slowly collapsing big beige head, reddish-brownish coloured, cloudy; sourish-fruity nose with a toasty touch; light to moderate sweetish-sourish flavour, soft MF, medium bodied; toasted malt - again - in the sweet dark-malty and fruity finish. Pleasant Dunkel Weizen...........

(bottle) Cloudy, brown coloured hue with a massive beige foamy head. Yeasty and slightly sweet toast-malty aroma with a distinctive fruity note of red and dark berries and banana, accompanied by notes of cloves. Slightly sweet and sourish flavour, light to medium bodied with a crispy mouthfeel. Slightly toasted malty and moderately wheaty taste with rounded fruity notes. Sweet and slightly sourish tart finish with delicate clove-spicy finish. Good one (03.VI.09).

(33cl bottle) Slightly unclear, pale golden colour with a medium-sized foamy white head. Herbal and slightly fruity hoppy nose with a soft malty sweetness in the background. Moderately bitter flavour with a medium to light body and a crispy mouthfeel. Pale malt-character with a present hops character, accompanied by herbal and shy fruity accents; dry and moderately bitter hoppy finish. Obviously Lehner knows how to brew a good Pils (14.V.09).
