(Bottle, 0.25 l, at One Pint Pub, Helsinki, 20110325) The beer poured almost clear and golden. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness, bananas and mild sweetness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were mild sweetness, mild sourness, cooking bananas, fruitiness and tartness. Aftertaste was mildly tart. I was expecting sickeningly sweet experience and I was surprised by this slightly sour and tart beer. I don’t think this was contaminated.

Bottled@One Pint Pub, Helsinki. Amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is caramel malts, some red berries and some mild alcohol. Flavour is fruits, wood, quite malty and berryish along with some notes of yeast.

Bottled. Coppery colour with a mediumsized off-white head. Aroma is liquorice, some sweet malts, mild acidic wooden notes as well as some notes of toffee. Flavour is being quite much the same, also some slight yeasty and some slight notes of diacetylic buttery/toffeeish notes.

Bottled@One Pint Pub, Helsinki. Golden colour with small white head. Aroma is alcohol, sweet malts, mild notes of wood and some herbal notes. Flavour is being much the same in a quite nice balance. Flavour also contains some slight notes of diacetyl. Once it warms up quite burning hot alcohol is there as well. The big brother of Bionda 5.5 and 8 %... Yet actually balanced in a nice way. Gives slight chills, but definitively one of the better malt likkas around.

Bottled@One Pint Pub, Helsinki. Golden colourm small white foamy head. Aroma is diacetyl, fruits, some toffee, sweet malts and a bit hoppyness as well. Flavour is toffee, caramel, fruits and some quite diacetylic notes. Quite thin palate compared to the 8 % one.

Bottled@One Pint Pub, Helsinki. Hazy amber colour, small head. Aroma is grass, sweet malts, some toffee, mild sourish wooden notes as well as some mild spices. Flavour is rather similar in a nice balance. Rather pleasant strong and malty beer.

(Bottle, 0.33 l, at One Pint Pub Italian weeks ’10) The beer poured golden and slightly hazy. Head was small and white. Aroma was like dry carboard with some sweet notes. Palate was ok. The taste had more carboard but also malts, fruitiness, berries and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet. This might have been just too old, too weird or just simply bad, And I don’t even know whether this beer is actually a pale lager. The bottle had no label.
