Bottled, date 01-11-2012, large sample. Slight hazy amber color, short frothy head. Aroma of spicy belgian yeast, slight grassy hop, some caramel malt. Bit sweet taste. 60 IBU according to the bottle? Didnt get that. Maybe a bit too much honey and spicyness from the yeast to make it easy drinkable.

33 cl bottle @ home. Hazy amber color. Huge off white head, rocky, with long retention and good lacing. Aroma’s: soft hoppy, fruity, yeast. Herbal hops and soft malty sweetness retronasal. Flavor is lightly caramellish sweet, with a mild upcoming bitterness. Medium bodied. Subtle bitter finish. Nice enough.

Tap @ Delft. Seems to be a pumped up version of de Oude Schaterhand. Clear yellowish color, short head. Served a bit on the cold side perhaps. Soft aroma of citrussy hop, too soft for a DIPA in my opinion. Soft bitter taste as well, a bit dry. It’s pretty clean in taste, which is good, but it’s also a bit thin in body. Lacks some flavor for me.
