Description
Raven Bone Hill is een Maassluis brouwinitiatief met een eigen visie op bieren.
Er zijn duizenden soorten bier op de wereld, en dat is niet genoeg. Er is behoefte aan lekkerder en moderner speciaalbier; Eigenwijs bier met ballen dat Rockt en Rollt en waar je eerder inspiratie dan een kater van krijgt. Bier dat je zonder schaamte op tafel kan zetten bij een chique diner. Een mooie fles die je trots als cadeau geeft of die je kerstpakket eindelijk eens de moeite waard maakt.

Tap at Delfts bierfestival. Slight hazy amber with nice lasting off white head. Cinnamon buns, nuts, grenadine, honey, very herbal. Medium sweet with almost metallic herbal bitter finish. Medium bodied. Don’t really feel the abv here, feels more like half of what is advertised. But very different from the regular version that’s for sure...

Tap at Delfts bierfestival. Clear amber with enormous off white head. Honey, sweet malts, nice fruity hops, light spices. Medium sweet with below medium bitterness. Medium bodied with slight sticky feel.

Bottle at Delfts bierfestival. Slight hazy dark golden with off white head. Wort, sugary grains, old hops, light fresh wood and a roasted touch. Medium sweet. Medium bodied with sticky feel. Not good at all.

Bottle 330ml. @ home. [ As Raven Bone Hill Schaterhand Double Indian Pale Ale ].Clear medium to dark orange color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, orange - citrus, wood, light pine, hop butter notes. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, caramel, hoppy, orange, riped orange - fruit, initial sweet fruity hops - riped fruity hops, late finish hop oil - wood. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20141123]
