Description
In the Wild East, you have to work together. Therefore three friends joined forces and started to brew beer in the old smithery of Purtse castle. Their holy desire was to make beer so good that you would become sad when the glass started to empty.
The men of Purtse do not hold annual press conferences in Narva, nor do they give empty promises about improving everyday life of Ida-Virumaa. They are doing it here and now, because they like it wild in here.

On tap at Prgu, pours a clear pale golden with a small beige head. Aroma brings out crisp grass, with some straw and biscuity malt. Flavour is crisp and grassy, with biscuity malt, grass, some herbal notes and a bit of vegetal character. Crunchy and cabbage notes on the finish. Not great.

Tap at TCBW 2018. Pours golden with whiteish head. Aroma is farty, beany coffee, some grains, cardboard. Flavor follows the nose. Body is watery. Overall: this belonged to the crap beer festival... possibly the worst beer of the festival. --- Beer merged from original tick of Laagrikohv on 05 May 2018 at 17:03 - Score: 3. Tap at TCBW 2018. Pours amber. Aroma is sweet, hoppy, fruity. Flavor is sweet and bitter, fruits, malt, booze. Overall: doesn't feel like proper bock, would like more lagery graininess and noble hops, less booze and sweetness. --- Beer merged from original tick of Kooperaator on 04 May 2018 at 21:21 - Score: 6
