Description
In the Wild East, you have to work together. Therefore three friends joined forces and started to brew beer in the old smithery of Purtse castle. Their holy desire was to make beer so good that you would become sad when the glass started to empty.

The men of Purtse do not hold annual press conferences in Narva, nor do they give empty promises about improving everyday life of Ida-Virumaa. They are doing it here and now, because they like it wild in here.

33cl can from Rimi Supermarket, Tallinn. Pours close to pitch black with a modest, tanned head. Juniper, roasted malt, hints of smoke and earthy notes as well. Medium sweet with solid juniper flavour - feels strange at first, but I certainly like it. Nice one and I could easily have more of this....

Bottleshare at Chez Frog. Can. Hazy gold beer, good pale cream colour head. Airy palate, fairly dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Thin malts, an overcooked creamy sweetness. Crisp pine. Tropical hops but thin. Thin finish. Messy, needs a lot of tuning for my palate.
