Pours clear yellow with a bubbly creme head. Aroma of lemon, pine resin. Taste has peppery resin, pine. Palate has much of the same lingering peppery resin, back on the throat. Eh.

Pours grapefruit-pink with a thin bubbly head. Aroma like a lambic - stone fruit, lactose, raspberry. Taste has fruity lactic notes, plums, other stone fruits. Palate has much of the same, lingering lactic notes on the nose. Good.

Can pour from Manchester Wine and Liquors. Appearance is lightly hazy caramel light brown with finger-width off-white foamy head with decent retention and trace lacing. Aroma is strong caramel malt and fruit. Taste follows aroma with strong caramel and perhaps a mild citrus but it's more of an astringent quality than flavor. Tastes a bit unfinished. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with thin texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste with lingering bitterness. Overall, it's a malt bomb and feels a bit unfinished. I tried to make sure that this was fresh but could have been wrong but this is not only not great for the style but isn't good overall.

Can from tfontana in a share. Should be a newer can. All I smell is caramel malt. The flavor is mostly all caramel sweetness. It does have stringent bitterness. No real hop flavor. Brewing 101: adding a lot of malt produces sugar which in return makes alcohol. Problem is .... too much mall so much sweetness.
