Pretty lifeless body. Modestly bitter. Not that well balanced. I like Beer Brain but this one is not one of their best

Light golden color. Dry slightly minerally and floral nose. Bone dry, very bitter and clean. Not earth shattering but solid

Beer Brain Pump it Black IPA 6% Friends shared this deep brown colored brew from Beer Brain which had a floral bitter hop bouquet with a touch of roast malts. Close to the sweet spot for a black ipa for me, solid. Tap @ Ibaraki Bakuon

Beer Brain Lose Yourself German Pilsner 5% Deep gold with thick fast vanishing off-white foam and a bready musty herbal aroma. Medium bodied, it has a bit of a tang to it but is a solid pils in my book. Beer Brain seem to make decent brews. They’re a new to me brewery. Tap @ Ibaraki Bakuon

Strong hop profile, drinks a little thick/syrupy for a Pilsner.

Dark brown color. Plum, raisins, coconut milk chocolate are pretty intense . Semi sweet plums, milk chocolate and burnt raisin - the oak and rum are faint. Light body. Slightly boozy. Sweet. Body reminds me more of a Baltic porter. Enjoyable

not much nose but nice roasted malt, cotton candy and coffee and firm bitter palate with some citrus notes. Well balanced and dry. Pretty damn good for a 5.0% ipa

Nice. Crisp and hoppy. Bit of grassiness.
