BOTTLE. Murky dark brown, beige head. Strong aroma of liqueur cake flavoring. Seems sour. Looks like it's done.

PET 40 CL. Cloudy red, off-white head. Rustic malts, dough, pork fat, light acidity.Taste of malts, dough, sweet light toasted bread, unripe fruit acidity (that is on the verge of being an off-flavour). Not bad, but seems off after just seven days in a refrigerated bottle.

PET 40 CL. Hazy golden, big white head. Strong herbal hops out of the bottle, but mostly stale malts in the glass, a bit of unripe fruit. The taste is young and rustic, kellerbier-like, pale malts, sweet white bread and a light unripe fruit tartness. You get some herbal hop flavour but no bitterness whatsoever. Prickly carbonation in a light but not quite watery body. Not bad.

PET 40 CL. Cloudy dirty yellow, big creamy white head. Strong dirty yeasty malts aroma, diacetil and hints of acidity. The taste is also more tha rustic, sweet pale malts with no hops, but just enough acidity to somewhat balance without becoming a flaw. Drinkable.

PET 40 CL. Hazy golden, big white head. Aroma of white loaf, some yeast, unripe fruit and sulphites. The taste follows the nose - prickly carbonation, bready malts with minimum sweetness, but also some dough/yeast. Feels young and green, which gives it a rustic twist. With all this, it drinks a quite a nice kellerbier.

330ml Odessa Premium from tap at Pecheskago restaurant, Odessa. Straw colour, with small white persistent head. Yeasty aroma, with notes of spice and herbs. Hoppy, but with a quite distinct and characteristic spicy flavour. It reminds a bit of coriander and nettle. A sting of peppar in the finish. Interesting! This beer is, according to the brewery’s web page, only available in (some) bars and restaurants in Odessa. 23.Jun.2010
