On tap at The Barley Merchant, pours a clear amber with a small white head. Aroma has some spicy rye, light rustic saison yeast, and some earthiness. Flavour is earthy, with spicy rye, light rustic saison yeast, and a touch of esters. Yeast expression isn't particularly convincing but it's not bad.

Amber gold, massive loose white head. Lightly sweet fore/mid. Good body/gassy. Lasting light spicy hop bitterness

Hazy, dull pale. Thin head. Dry, a bit grainy. It’s not a bad beer for a beer that isn’t really anything. A funny little not ipa.

Slight dark shade, sour that doesn’t smell good. Or taste good. Ferm is way off on this one, fuck. It’s that rank milk kind of fucked. Absolutely should not serve this to people.

Dull and hazy pale. Thin head. Bitter but the malts are awol. Hop aromatics also. This beer has been gutted, just nothing here at all.

Tart, lime, a bit of salt, lactic. Description is accurate. It's a lime gose. I mean there's nothing else really.

Has murky dark brown body and minimal foam. Smells of okay spruce and molasses, but not very bright. Taste is a good meld of spruce and dark biscuit, some plum. Ends overly sweet, almost cloying. It's halfway there.

Poured with okay medium clear gold modest foam. Smells of good citrusy hops, lemony. Taste is soft plasticky hops, a hint of pine. Ends wet and watery, okay carbonation. This is quite tepid, and rather pointless.

Poured with good foam on a deeper clear copper body. Aroma is okay biscuit and some piney hops. Taste is chewy malt, good piney hops. Finishes thick and smooth, lots of lingering resin. There's no finesse here, it's an old school IPA but at least it's drinkable.

Poured with cloudy yellow body and minimal foam. Smells of plenty of vanilla, maybe vague tea. Taste is heavy on the vanilla, maybe some tea in there, ends carbonated well but thin. It's too experimental while missing the fundamentals.
