Home after and afternoon at ballpark watching Sox now time for hockey and few more brews. Gold pour and frothy white head. Nose is herbal and crackery. Tastes of heavy herbs, peppery, water crackers, bread, hint of floral and vanilla. Chewy palate. Quite like it

Draft at brewery with spicy chicken sandwich and this helped mute that somewhat. Quite pretty brown pour with a head that sits to attention. Nose is light cocoa and earth. Tastes of chocolate, earth, some toffee, coffee. Smooth creamy palate.

Pours a hazy amber from a can. Stone fruit and pine aroma and flavor. A little on the sweet side. Pretty good beer.

Cask at GBBF '22 day 1, 02/08/22. Lightly hazed golden blonde with a decent off white covering. Nose is pale malts, grass, grains, light citric peel, melon. Taste comprises pale malts, grains, herb, lemon rind, modest bitter rip. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Not bad ... came over rather more lager like than a gold for me.

GBBF Day 1. Cask. Light haze on this gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Light malts, a light creamy sweetness. Ripe citrus, a ripe peel. Modest pine. Ripe fruity dry finish. Fine.

Draught at Dorchester Brewing, 9/9/21.
Shimmering white gold. White head fades steadily to a ring.
Sweaty-to-wet-dog-hop nose is disappointing. Some juicy citrus behind it with light honey-like malt character.
Heavy citrus flavor growing punchy and sugary on the end. Sweet and moderately attenuated. Weird stuff going on here. Is there lactose or just weird yeast interactions? The structure of the beer seems fine otherwise.
