375ml corked bottle. This is one complex Framboise. Murky brownish-red color. Sweet with an almost raspberry puree finish to it. Some wheaty farmhouse stuff going on way in the background. The alcohol helps round out the beer as well. Sour and rich. Awesome beer.

(Bottle at Pikkulintu on 2008-07-11) Pale orange. Quite clear without yeast, turns hazy. Medium-sized white bubbly head that disappeared quickly. Sour and woody nose. Medium palate, turns dryish, bit carbonation, quite soft. Malts, sourness, wood, light bitterness, some sweetness, little bit vomit and fruitiness in taste. Very nice.

Bottle, Belgian Belly, Manchester. Poured a hazy golden colour with a lingering white head. Aroma was yeasty, citrus fruit with a hint of spice. Flavour was sweetish and quite malty. Alcohol not that well masked, but not bad on the whole.

Draught at Ris Ras, Århus
Blond color. The aroma is initially perfumy. Balanced, well bitter, but not special, lacking complexity.

Bottle from Knightly Spirits. Pours reddish brown with small light pink head. Smells like sour cherries. Tart cherry flavor with some sweetness, and woody taste with a dry finish. Light to medium body with average carbonation. A good kriek lambic.

Bottle from Dranken Geers, near Gent, Belgium, March 08 consumed 25-05-08 My first pour was clear gold, with nice big white bubbly head that rapidly vanished, this beer became cloudier and murkier the more that I got down the 750ml bottle. Aroma was leathery, dusty and also moist flannel, unusual in that I failed to notice any barnyard funkiness, my twelve year old niece said she could smell rusty nails. Taste was quite big on grapefruits, good sharp acidic bite though not as fearsome as some Geuze, tasty beer refreshing and most enjoyable.

(Bottle 37,5 cl) Courtesy of boboski. Clear, orangey brown with an off-white head. Tart and very fruity, berry-like aroma. Medium body with sweetish raspberry notes, some acidity and some fusty accents - cork perhaps. Sweet’n’sour finish. 270408
