Really not up to the standards of either of them, strangely enough. Light straw and ok malt. Some coffee. Golden pour with ok head. Tap at Snally.

Draft pour at Snallygaster 2016. Poured a clear golden yellow color with a medium sized white head. Aroma was lots of coffee, very light green pepper notes. Flavor was about the same, blast of coffee - it kind of masks the rest of the beer, but it’s pleasant enough.

4oz at Max’s, pours a totally clear, pissy gold with a ring of white head. Nose is mild candlewax, lemon pepper. Flavor is better with lemon balm, light green pepper, a touch grassy, straw. Peppery finish.
