Bottle 0,33 ltr: Cloudy amber colored brew with an heavy sweet taste with an overall present delightful burning alcohol. Load of hints of dried fruit, caramel and butterscotch.

Bottle (2017 vintage). Amber colour, small beigeish head. Aroma is dried fruits, some ripe fruits, mild toasted and some fudge tones to it. Flavour is zest, some marmalade, mild alcohol sweetness with some sweet malts and a bit dried fruits to it too. Big and bold.

Pale blond colour. Dry mouthfeel, breadish, with low bitterness. Simple.1

Bottiglia n. 13445. All'olfatto si esprimono sentori di sottobosco. L'intensità olfattiva è molto elevata e la maniera in cui permane è considerevole. Il mantello birroso superiore è caratterizzato da una schiuma evanescente. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana media. Il colore è ambrato carico tendente rossiccio. Il corpo è strutturato. L'amaro è medio. La forza gustativa è elevata e la durata è buona. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di birra beverina. Il retrogusto è intenso. In bocca l'aroma è quello di caramello, miele, crosta di panettone, frutta secca, agrumi, spezie, frutta passita, mandorla fresca, whisky, cuoio, prugna, rabarbaro, vino rosso, chiodi di garofano, mais cotto e vaniglia. Alcol invadente.

Bottiglia. Il naso viene catturato dall'orzo tostato. L'olfatto viene stimolato in maniera normale e la maniera in cui permane è sufficiente. Il cappello di schiuma è destinato a vita breve. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana media. Il liquido appare velato. Il colore è ambrato. Il corpo è rotondo. L'amaro è pronunciato. La forza gustativa è normale e si prolunga in modo sufficiente. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di birra beverina. Il retrogusto è di media intensità. Sul tetto della bocca arrivano note di caramello, miele, frutta secca, agrumi, spezie e arancia.

Bottiglia. Il naso vira verso l'orzo. La finezza olfattiva è normale e si prolunga in modo sufficiente. Il manto birroso superiore ha una buona tenuta. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana media. Il liquido è di consistenza limpida. Il colore è ambrato. La forza gustativa è normale e permane in maniera sufficiente. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di pronta beva. Il retrogusto è di media intensità. Sulla lingua si attestano indizi di miele, frutta secca e agrumi.

Bottle 36407 from Corti Bros. Pours dark amber with a tranisent smear. Aroma of kandi, dark fruit and caramel. Full bodied. Flavor is the aroma, but fig and leather too. Not dry, but just avoiding sticky. Heat is perceptible. Excellent flavor.

(Bottle) Hazy brown colour with brief, foamy head. Malty, vinous nose with dried fruit, raisins, prunes, brown bread, caramel, oak wood and a touch of whisky. Malty, vinous taste with notes of dried fruit, chocolate, raisins, prunes, figs, fruit cake, caramel, oak wood and a warming touch of whisky in a finish with a mild spicy bitterness. Full body, quite sweet. Rich, warming and slightly boozy, with a mild wood character and lots of dried fruit. Very nice.

(Bottle, 0.33 l - #1634, from Alko, 20230826) The beer poured amber and hazy. Its head was small and white. Aroma had toasted malts, raisins, prunes, dark fruits, molasses and toffee. Palate was full bodied and dry with medium carbonation. Flavours were toasted malts, dark fruits, raisins, prunes, toffee, earth and bitterness. Aftertaste had malts, molasses and bitterness. A delicious and balanced malty brew.
