Description
At the gateway to the Sequoia National Forest, Kern River Brewery is Kernville's only brewpub. This makes KRBC much more than just a restaurant; it's an attraction in itself.

The Kern River Brewing Company is a privately owned “S” Corporation and is managed by a three-member board of directors. The business of the company is the production of fresh high-quality beer and food in a fun, comfortable environment. Kyle Smith, Eric Giddens and Rebecca Giddens make up the perfect combination to do just that.

Can from Beer Republic. Piney hop aroma with citrus, pine resin, malt, even a hint of caramel. More citrus notes with some grapefruit, piney finish. Good bitterness, light to mild sweet. Fiiiiiine!

Draft. Amber beer with a cream head. Summer fruit and light diesel aroma. Summer fruit and light pine flavor with light diesel. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Summer fruit and light pine linger with light diesel.

Can from Bine & Vine. Pours clear gold with a moderate white head. Aroma of citrus and melon. Med body. Fairly dry and pretty bitter. Pale malt support for melon, citrus, and maybe a touch of passion fruit. There's a light dank note. Nice.
