Description
State of Kind Brew Co launched in spring 2021. As you can imagine, it’s taken a fair bit of planning, and yes, you’re right, we basically started a brewery in the middle of a global pandemic. This isn’t quite as crazy as it sounds. In a funny way, it’s ideal: if we can make it work now, we can make it work any time, whatever the world throws at us. We’re launching first as a gypsy brewer, with four gorgeous core beers created using spare capacity on the premises of some kind, creative and brilliant brewing friends. But we don’t plan to stay on the move for long. Once the pubs have fully re-opened and we’ve recovered from the celebrations, the plan is to launch our very own state-of-the-art brewery and taproom. Hopefully, if all goes to plan, by the time Christmas 2021 rolls around you can come and say cheers in person...

It opened its own brewery and taproom in Summer 2022.

From tap at Wee Vault, Edinburgh. Grassy and juicy NZ hop, orange, tropical fruits, dankish hop, bit peppery almost. Zesty and moderate bitter with a hint of hopburn that doesn't get bothersome.

Can. Have I heard it on Vinyl? Yes boys, it goes sscrchh, click, sscrchh click click pop pop etc. Tis why CD was invented, tis why CD is superior. And yes, I grew up with vinyl. Hazy gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Light palate, slightly thin, mildly dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Slightly thin bodies pale malts, a decent creamy sweetness nonetheless. Crisp pine hop intro. A surprising and pleasing bitter edge. Ripeish peach led stone fruits and orange citrus with some orange marmalade. Strata missing in action. Light finish. A tidy IPA, coulda got a bit more from the Peacharine but that is a nit pick..
