Pint can from the Whole Foods in downtown ATX - hazy gold - rustic nose whose promise is not totally fulfilled in the flavor - medium dry, moderately bitter, lightly funky, light acidity - some brightly fruity lemon character on the tail end - it’s okay.

1 October 2022. At Texas Craft Beer Festival. Shared with the lovely Anke!

A: clear pale yellow, thinning head.
A: cantaloupe, watermelon, parsnip, turnip.
T: sweet-sour melon, parsnip & earth.
F: tart yellow fruit, vague earthy hops and minerals.
P: medium body, slick texture, soft carbonation.
Could have been more prominent in the 'sour' department.

12 oz can from Total Wine - San Antonio. Pours a cloudy gold color with a small white head and fair retention. No lacing. Basic pale malt aroma. Basic pale malt flavor too, with a light grain finish and faint lemon flavor. Lightly sweet. Soft carbonation. Light, watery body. Not bitter. Very generic, but it’s good on a hot summer day like today.
