Buegelverschlußflasche(750ml): Ruby-amber coloured, mid-sized and slowly collapsing creamy off-white head; sourish fruity(cherries) and grainy nose, traces of molasses underneath; moderate to solid semi-dry sourish-bitter flavour, slightly tart or adstringent, barely medium bodied; dried fruits and shy traces of caramel in the sour-bitter finish. Less complex than the flemish master-brews, but surely good and likeable…

Bügelverschlußflasche(750ml): Ruby-amber coloured, hazy, stable and creamy off-white head; sweetish fruity and caramelly nose, some "esrthy" hops in the background, some nutty traces as well; nesrly moderate bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied and soft; nutty traces again in the soft bitter-sweet hoppy a caramelly finish. A goody…

Bottle(750ml):Almost clear, copper coloured, huge and pretty stable off-white head; sweetish fruity and malty nose with a subdued, but authentic "english" hoppy background; more sweet than bitter flavour, almost medium bodied and pretty soft; drier and hoppier in the (english) malty-fruity finish, some hops sticking to the palate. A bit on the sweet side, but all in all very pleasant…

Bottled, from Landbierparadies. Hazy nut brown, small head. Fruity caramelly nose. Sweetish with light-medium body and clean, oily mouthfeel. Sticky buttery caramel, notes of lemon. Low bitterness. Simplistic and sticky, sub par malt character. Not a beer I would expect to find in Franconia.

Bottle from LBP, Nuremberg, 7/8/2015. Deep, ruddy, brown with a slight, but long lasting, off-white head. Sweet, earthy, malts and red berry aroma with some leafy hops. Flavour was sharp upfront, with more fruits, some bready malts and a gentle finish. Good.
