Sehr starke Karbonisierung. Süß-säuerlicher Traubenbeginn. Die Säure gewinnt schnell die Oberhand, milde Bitterkeit, sehr fruchtig. Intensiv, langer säuerlich fruchtiger Abgang. Gut. 8/10/11/10/9/11

Bottle. Unclear golden color with white head. Aroma is white wine, pretty grapey, funk. Taste is juicy, grapey, good funk, mild yoghurt. Oily mouthfeel with low carbonation. Very balanced, very delicate, awesome stuff. Hats off, Bevog!

Pour from a freshly opened 750 ml bottle at CBF Wien. Yellow, moderate hazy body, with a big, creamy, lacing, off-white head. Aroma of sweet white grapes, citrus, straw, some apple, moderate barnyard and young cheese. Tastes similar, a bit more funky. Medium, quite creamy mouthfeel, with a lively carbonation. Finishes fruity, wooden, moderate funky, a bit citric, with white grapes and long-lasting green apple zest. Tasty! Maybe not a outstanding as their Gueuze Style Ale, but also a really great, unexpected Wild ale for Austrian standards. Pretty complex, with lovely grape notes and quite some rustic funk. This should also age beautifully. Score: 8 / 4 / 8 / 4 / 17

Pour from a freshly opened 375 ml bottle at CBF Wien. Yellow, medium hazy body, with a big, fluffy, lacing, white head. Beautiful aroma of barnyard, young cheese, lemon, wood, white wine, some stone fruits, some straw. Tastes similar, a bit less funky, with more fruits. Medium, a bit creamy mouthfeel, with a quite fizzy carbonation. Finishes smooth, long, complex, wooden, fruity, funky, moderate vinous. Wow, this is damn close to a real Belgian Gueuze! Complex, balanced and elegant, with deep, rustic funk and fresh fruit notes. Quite a surprise, getting an outstanding Wild ale like this from Austria. Score: 9 / 4 / 9 / 4 / 17

Tastes citric, grassy, earthy, oak, peppery. Finishes light dry and light to medium bitter with notes of citrus, vinous and peppery notes. Just lovely, also very surprised by this. Bottle, Bevog web shop. Almost clear orange golden, thin white head, not too lasting. Gentle vinous nose, soury with some grapes. Moderate sourness upfront, puckery and vinous. Slightly tart finish. Light b ody, fresh. Nice.
