Sweet and toasted malty with notes of sticky sweet molasses, toffee and fudge like sweetness, dried fruit shred, nice body and mouthfeel, light spices, bourbon infused warming malty into the close. Lovely.

Draught @ Mikkeller Beer Celebration, 2025. Early Friday. Pours milky yellow with a small head. Dank and greeen double dry hopped skunk. Seems overdone. Milky phenolic DDH vibes. 3.4.

On tap at MBCC 2025 (Green session), pours jet black with a small brown head. Aroma is boozy and harsh, with bready malt, bourbon barrels, and harsh booze. Flavour is no more coordinated, with harsh booze, dark malts, and hot bourbon. Something seems to have wrong here. Very hot and abrasive. Uncoordinated indeed.

On tap at MBCC 2025 (Green session), pours an opaque yellow with a small white head. Aroma is full of hopburn, chalk, and pine needles. Flavour is nothing but hopburn, with lots of chalk, and nary a trace of hop expression. Just bad.

On tap at MBCC 2025 (Red session), pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma has a nice melony hop character, hop tang, and light citrus. Flavour is tangy, with melon, citrus hops, and biscuity malt. Melony, citrusy finish. Good.
