On tap at LHK Noodle Bar, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma has a pungent tangy hop character, with biscuity malt and some straw. Flavour is a bit muffled, with bitter tangy hops, straw, and bready malt. Nice bitter tanginess, but a rough malt backbone due to the rye that inhibits this a bit. Decent.

Pint can pours with a crystal clear golden colored body that supports a white head of foam. The aroma offers up tangelo to apricot as well as malt liked pine hops. The taste delivers crisp snappy flavors of grapefruit, clementine, pine hop bitterness and then a touch of herbal grassiness. The body thins out a tad to midway with a persistent tasty hop bill making me smile.

Boosty stuff. Rich dark malts, toffee, stewed dark fruits. Raisins. A little vanilla. Bourbon. Delicious. Packs a punch but still pretty drinkable. Not cloying, good depth.

Tasting at CBJ, thanks to Wingman. Near opaque dark brown beer, small and short lived bubbly tan head. Smooth palate, mildly dry, decent fine carbonation. Rich malts, caramel and cream and a little dark toffee, not over sweet. Whiskey soaked fruits. A little vanilla oak. Touch of bourbon. Airy mildly spicy finish. Nice drinkable barleywine.

Poured up on tap at Tipsy Cactus where it exhibits a crystal clear pure gold colored body that supports a near white head of foam. The aroma is inviting as it plumes notes of tangerine, tangelo, some orange marmalade as well as thin white wine grape character. The taste delivers that wonderful hoppy near chewy bite as well as clean crispness I love about these everywhere offerings. I get bitter grapefruit running throughout as well as tangy tangerine, tangelo and clementine citrus hop goodness. This is bangin'

Taste comprises bourbon barrel, fruit cake mix, light spice, caramel, molasses, brown sugar melt.
Full bodied, oily viscous feel, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost.

Poured up on tap at Tipsy Cactus where it exhibits a clear amber brown colored body that supports a tan head of foam. The aroma offers up modestly roasted malts, hazelnut like nuttiness and nut nuanced coffee. The taste delivers smooth moderate roasted malts getting quickly into a bit of coffee roast and hazelnut. This creates a pleasing mouth and flavor depth and there's enough going on here to keep things interesting. Will get again.
