Baltika (then owned by Carlsberg) acquired a 75% stake in the brewery in 2021 via Hoppy Union, the remaining 25% is held by the founder, Oleg Tatuyev.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Max’s place. Thanks Stas. Dark brown. Aroma of nuts, chocolate,toast, light vegetal hint. Sweet flavor with nuts, caramel, chocolate, and a mildly bitterish finish. Medium-bodied. Decent.

500ml bottle from Bochka in Moscow. Pours hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is wheat, vanilla, orange peel. Taste is very sweet, vanilla, citrus, honey. Sweetness is overwhelming and it feels like you are drinking an ice cream. Strange.
