Appearance: Opaque deep brown to black with a one finger tall beige head of good retention. Aroma: roasted and toasted malt, dark chocolate, coffee, citrus hop, distant caramel. Taste: Light sweet, light to medium bitter. Roasted and toasted malt, dark chocolate, coffee, citrus hop. Hoppy ending. So is the aftertaste. Mouth feel: medium minus body, soft carbonation. Summary: A highly respectable old-school brew.
