Appearance: Opaque deep brown with ruby highlights. Tall beige head of good retention. Aroma: Dark malts, toast & roast, treacle, vinous notes, good Saaz hop giving plenty of alpha acids. Unusual. Taste: Moderately sweet, medium bitter. Dark malts, toast & roast, dried fruits, bread, vinous notes, a lot of good hop. Lingering hoppy ending. Mouth feel: Medium body, appropriate carbonation. Summary: Good. Let it warm and breath a bit.
