Bottle. Pours opaque deep brown to black. No froth. Nose: roast & vanilla, whisky, dried fruit, some hops. Full body. Flat carbonation. Powerfull maltiness is dominant on tongue. The barrel is evident still not overwhelming. Roast, chocolate, dried fruit, whisky, vanilla, tannins. Tart oaky ending. Light bitterness along. Very warming. Not boozy in evidance of the ABV. This is good. The only wish it had a little more CO2.

330ml bottle, thanks alex_leit. Dark brown pour with some light brown foam on top. Nose is a bit green, soft lacto, berries and just a bit of bitterness. Taste has some weird harsh bitter herbal edge to it, quite dry. Not really roasty but that bitterness has somewhat burnt bread character to it. Dry herbal bitter finish. Would live to have more body but overall interesting, although maybe not something I would go crazy about.
