Pretty bitter for a Dutch bock. Loads of roast, almost coffee'ish. Good bite. Something dark caramelly in the back provides sweetness. Really nice change of pace from the big, commercial autumn bocks we get here.

On tap @ Bierfestival Groningen. Dark brown with a beige head. Roasted malts with some caramel as well. Sweet taste with an underlying bitterness ending in a medium bitter finish. Nice enough bock.

Bottle at home. Thanks to ShivanDragon, pours dark brown with offwhite head. Sweet roasted brown malts, chocolate milk, light salmiak, blueberry jam. Moderate sweet and bitter. Medium body and soft carbonation. Advertised as herstbock but it tastes more like a sessionable porter to me. Quite an easy drinker for (oops) 7%... --- Beer merged from original tick of Stoarm Mok on 07 Jan 2019 at 10:24 - Score: 6

On tap at De Markies. Hazy golden colour, white head. Aroma of yeast, light floral, malts, not particularly hoppy. Flavour is yeasty, soapy, malty, light floral, hint of hops. Light bodied. Not very good, certainly far from an IPA.
