Keg at Bierrex Smoke & Taphouse, Newcastle Upon Tyne, Wednesday 30th September 2014 Pours cherry coloured with a light pink head. Sour ’ish’ with a little lemon juice amongst the fairly safe cherry flavour. The aftertaste is a little dusty. Not bad, in fact ok, but not as good as Loz’s Weird Beard low abv Little Things batch 9 offering. A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov11 3.0

Keg at The Hanging Bat. Pours hazy pale gold, thin white head. Sorachi bubblegum and lemon nose, sorachi bubblegum and lemon taste. An unsubtle hop that seems to have blown any saison yeast character out of the water! Nice enough sorachi beer though.

Keg at The Hanging Bat. Pours clear gold, thin white head. Aromas of light citrus and light pine. Taste is more at the citrus end of bitter, light faint sweetness at the back. Palate is a little thin maybe, but a good, easy drinking session beer.
