Molasses and old Fitz, sweet but restrained syrupy chocolatey flavors all over.

Spruce tips and mellow carb. Maybe more carb in the bottle but still tasty. Spruce tips and slight tangy hints dominate the flavor.

Lots of apple brandy upfront making it a super solid apple pie nose, apple pie crust hits mid and finish nicely. The pecans blend nicely with the rye notes from the finishing barrel. And the cinnamon is really done well, not overwhelming at all.

Can from Kihoskh at home 30/10/2024 Glad to see more HBC 1019 hopped brews and this does not disappoint here paired with Citra, lots of juicy peach up front with some orange and melon, just a hint of that creamy caramilised banana, light coconut and pineapple chimes, comes together well.

Aromas are MJ, citrus, resin, stone fruit and melon. Flavors are similar to nose, MJ stands out with excellent balance between bitter, sweet and carbonation. Pretty good beer.

Adjuncts overpower this one a bit much. Intense with the coffee and roasted coconut

Aromas are bread, malt and a hint of hops. Flavors are similar to nose, fresh tasty dank hops come out more and is slightly more sweet than bitter with carbonation attached soft and decent body. Very nice.

16 oz. can. Pours black, with a big, foamy, tan head. The aroma is resin, cocoa, orange peel, pine, and coriander. Sweet and malty, with a nice, smooth bitterness. Medium to heavy body, syrupy, and a bit chalky. Pretty solid, balanced, and fun.

Poured up on tap at Tipsy Cactus where it exhibits a mahogany to chocolate colored body that supports a nice tan head. The aroma offers up dark roasted malts, chocolate, a dash of fruity hoppiness and then a faint tobacco note. The taste delivers smooth even malt roastiness nuanced by chocolate, thin dark roasted malts and earthy tobacco. Modest spicy to citrus to a bit of pine like hops bitterness. This thing drinks mighty nice.

8 ounce at the Congress Park location - black pour with a substantial tan lace - nose is heavy vanilla, espresso, whiskey, oak - slick and full in the mouth - flavor is sweet, but tempered by a tannic red wine note through the middle and a back-end espresso bitterness - lots of underlying whiskey notes that never overpower - earthy oak, dark fruit, tart cherry - warming but not boozy finish - really tasty!
