Handbottle 50 cl. Courtesy of Dedollewaitor. Pours amber with a slight haze and a small off-white head. Sweet malt and butterscotch aroma. Medium body, very sweet malt, caramel and butterscotch with some late grassy hops adding quite some bitterness. Probably would’ve been great without the butter. 180212

Handbottle. It pours almost clear, amber in color and with a minimal sized off-white head. The aroma has fruityness, toffee tending towards butterscotch and a touch of burnt sugar. The flavor has a light citric touch, with toffee, fruityness and a pleasant hoppyness. Medium body, soft on the palate. Decent bitterness in the end. Not a bad beer, but too much toffee-ish for my likings. 120218

On tap at Carlsens Kvarter at the 40th anniversary. Slightly hazy amber with a small off-white head. Caramel and toffee aroma with a bit of diacetyl complimenting the malt profile. In two different kegs, one clearly had less diacetyl, which was better. Sweetish malty flavour with a nice, mild hoppy finish. As Ølgaard Bayersk. Clean malty, bready and toffee aroma and flavour. Excellent!
