Draught at Carlsens Kvarter, Odense. HAzy brownish amber, small head. More caramel than grapefruit. Medium-full body with rounded mouthfeel and rather clean mouthfeel. More like a really bitter strong ale than an IPA. Not that fun.

Draught, house Christmas beer, 6.8% ABV, at Carlsens Kvarter where it really was chilled down a bit too far. Clear and deep mahogany coloured body. Bare naked surface, fragile lacing. Plain dark malty smell. Dark caramel malts along with a modest touch of candy sweetness. Typical for the style and partly enjoyable (Odense, 10.11.2010).

Sept. 2010. Premiere of the beer. Hazy amber with a lasting off-white head. Aroma of malt, caramel and citrus hops, with a hint of diacetyl. Sweet malty flavour with citrus hops and a bitter finish.
Re-rate, January 2011. Hardly any sign of the diacetyl. Still malty with citrus hops. Raised the rating 0.1.

Tasting at Papsø, hand-bottle
Hazy light blond color; small head. Light malt and vanilla aroma, breadcrumbs. Light body, breadish malt flavor; quite high bitterness, a bit grassy. Thist quenching but simple.
