15th Dec 2017. Draft in the Stadium Brewery, Aliso Viejo. Red hue to the body, clear and clean, on top a lightly tanned covering. Toasted, roasted malts in both the nose and taste, some red fruits too. Decent.

Pour is a hazy blond with a large white head. Aroma is wow really nice. I get some pineapple mixed with red berry and some dankness and green onion. Flavor has a little less pop of hops the aroma let on but this is still pretty solid. I get some berry and dankness with a super dry malt and a average bitterness. I thought this was going to be just another ho-hum IPA but this was pretty good beer. My can was right at the 90 day mark so getting this fresher probably would have raised the score.

Pour is a bright and clear gold with tons of bubbles making a fizzy white head. Aroma is a decent wet dough Euro malt. Flavor is more bready malts, no real hops profile and again super carbonated and fizzy. The head never goes away. This was pretty light all around but I could still drink a lot of this on a warm summer day with not a care in the world.

This to me is a bench mark American Strong ale. Deep ruby red color. Massive nose of pine and cookie dough. Very full bodied, with immense chuwiness and rip roaring hops. Very full bodied. Everything is balanced in the right place. Big, but after a pint I wished there was more. Really really good.

Bomber from Bine & Vine. Pours dark brown with a fairly dark tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, and something suggesting smoke/peat. Med + body. It's drier than common, chocolate, has something suggesting raisin/prune and I really think there's some smoke. The dark malt isn't very smooth. But that adds intereest. Rather earthy. Something puts a bite on my tongue upper surface. Pretty tasty stuff.

Tap at Cap Hop. Pours dark gold with a white head that laced a bit. Aroma is dank/earthy/resiny. Near full bodied. Flavor is dark/earthy/citrus/???other stuff. Caramel is clearly discernible. Still, it's reasonably dry and very bitter. Seems like hop coats the mouth. Strong and tasty ale.

Draft at Beavertown Extravaganza 2017 - London. Pours clear gold with a foamy, white head. Great double IPA. Lightly dank, with plenty of melon, grapefruit. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Finishes with some rindy and piney bitterness, more citrus fruits. Well done.
