The aromas are lots of resin hops and toffee malt. Full body with good balance between bitter, sweet and carbonation. Finish follows flavors. Decent west coast style beer.

4 oz. draft sample at Twisted Vine. Color is almost black with small white head. The aroma is cocoa, weak roast, light chocolate. A theme I noticed with this brewery is the very filmsy body in the brews. This is also very light bodied. I was left searching for something more in this.

4 oz. draft at Twisted Vine. The nose is a nice mix of old citrus and floral notes with a touch of yeast. Flavor is yeast upfront with the floral and rustic grain hitting the back of your palate. Shows a low amount of spice in the finish. Dry texture. One of the better brews I sampled at this brewery.

4 oz. draft sample at Twisted Vine. Color is a very dark brown with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is cocoa, oats, milk sugar. Flavor is weak roast, brown sugar, vanilla, and hints of oats. Extremely thin body with hardly a smoothness on the palate that one looks for in the style.
