Sampled at Beer Dabbler, 2016. some coconut. heavily roasted malt character, and quite sweet. Lactose maybe, which i am not crazy about. black color, low carbonation. Some chocolate flavor. Decent beer for one of their first.

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a near clear gold with a touch of orange and a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a touch of grass with a bit of honey and a light crisp grain. Flavor has light grain notes, thin hay and a hint of honey.

Sampled from the tap at the St. Paul Summer Beer Fest. Pours a hazy deep amber with a tan head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma has notes of earthy grains with underlying notes of grass and earthy pine. Flavor has grass with a bit of pine and some light grain underlying.
