Keg at the brewpub, 1/3/20. Clear gold thin creamy white head good retention. Aroma of not much at all... some Stone fruit. Taste is bready malt, lime, stone fruit. Medium bodied lingering bitterness.

On tap at the source. Unfiltered brown-orange body, thin oily non-head. Slow rising carbonation bubbles within. Mild, mellow malt aroma. Big amber tones, but not as sticky or sweet as i would’ve expected. Hefty clean malt body, maybe a pinch of honey which really smooths out the amber malt. Rich malt, but not so much hop depth. Massively hefty ale, smooth on the palate but heavy in the stomach. Unique honey edges.

Tap at the source. Deep brown, approaching black body. Creamy, steady beige head. Sweet nutty aroma. Big, clean, rich nut brown. Smooth, woody, nutty notes, a slight dry, bitter hop balance. Delicate and well executed. Sweet, thick unfiltered body. Not quite World Class, but a respectable Brown for sure.

On tap at the source. Big steady beige head atop of an opaque black body, stained glass red edges. Minty hops., big thick chocolate and specialty malts. True to style, well done. Icy bitter. A welcome surprise. Very nice. Big and rich, sugary and full. Solid offering!

A hazed amber ale with a thin white head. In aroma, a sweet cloying malt with ginger notes, chemical strawberries, so-so. In mouth, a sweet cloying malt with incense, myrrh, ginger and off notes. On tap at Istmus Beer and Cheese Fest, Jan 19 2012.

Growlers brought back from MBC. Filtered tan body, creamy white head. Clean, floral hop aroma. A really solid APA, healthily hopped, strawy and dry. Clean golden malt backbone. Well executed, way above average for a WI microbrew. Clean and drinkable, yet boldly hopped..think Zombie Dust.

From Skyview’s growler. A very poor beer. It looks ok, cloudy gold color. Flavor is not good at all, with no honey or cranberry but only bitter grain. Thin, watery palate.

Shared by Skyview. This is a first rate oatmeal stout. Full roasted aroma with grain. Flavor is a little bitter, more roasted malt and grain. On the thick side, this beer has a great palate.
