Description

Can at home from de Caigny. Pours almost completely clear, somewhat copperish golden with a white head. On the nose it shows grassy green hops and light resin with an ever so slight hint of caramalts in there. Flavour is low ght malty sweetness and then the same hop profile as in thr aroma, the bitterness is light to medium at best, could’ve done with a bit better in that front. The mouthfeel is pretty decent, feels like water treatment done right. Quite good all in all, what’s there, works, it could use a bit more intensity tho. Promising first encounter with the brewery, looking forward to trying more

24/X/25 - 33cl can from Geers (Oostakker), shared @ home, BB: 22/VIII/27, BOR2025116 (2025-1066)

Cloudy orange beer, big fizzy irregular off-white head, unstable, non adhesive, looks like orange juice, to be honest. Aroma: oh my, lovely! Lots of mango, some passion fruit, guava, apricots, peaches, very intense fruit aromas! MF: no carbon, medium to full body, thick, almost smoothie like texture. Taste: nice acidity, pretty bitter, fruity, ripe mango, sweet and sugary, more acidic, smoothie, some orange marmalade.
