Draft pour at Savor: An American Craft Beer & Food Experience 2017. Poured a pale straw golden color, very slightly hazy. Small, diminishing head. Aroma was nice floral notes, some citrus and a solid pine resin character to it. Light tropical fruits and oranges are quite pleasant.

Draft pour at Savor: An American Craft Beer & Food Experience 2017. Poured a sliightly hazy, straw golden yellow color with a small white head. Aroma was a strong dark chocolate character with some oats. Flavor was white chocoate, touch roast. Totally surprising. I’ve had a few white stouts in the past - but not for a long time so I kind of rolled my eyes at the gimmick. There’s a little bit of heat on this one, kind of a woody vanilla notes. Creamy oats texture makes this one really a treat.

Sample at Bier Markt for the CBW Collaboration Kickoff on 10/09/2015. Clear pale orange color with a medium white head that recedes quickly to a film. Short strings of lacing. Aroma of malt and mild hops. Light-bodied with flavors of doughy malt, fruit and slight hops. The finish is soft and malty. Average overall.
