On tap at the brewpub.
Appearance: clear golden yellow color with a bar pour's kind of slim foamy head. Light lace after dissipation.
Aroma: blueberry sweet and subtle tart character. Light biscuity tones
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas together sweetly. Sly aftertaste of blueberries
Texture: light bodied, sessionable, very smooth along the tongue, finishes crisp and smooth with the blueberries
Overall: I'd say a very nicely done authentic blueberry lager well worthy of coming back preferably on a hot Summer's day.

Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 7 | Overall - 7
On tap at the brewpub.
Appearance: golden yellow in color with a bar pour's kind of thin white foamy head which slid off to barely leave any lace
Aroma: bready to biscuity malts, subtle rye - floral & sweet, mildly grasy hopped underneath
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas semi-sweet, no aftertaste
Texture: light bodied, sessionable, fairly smooth along the tongue; finishes somewhat crisp and floral
Overall: not bad for what it is but I would have liked some of the spicy component normally found with the full use of the rye actually in this beer but no worries, I believe I could still come back to this.
CoastGuardVet (9444) reviewed Coconut Porter from Valcour Brewing 2 months ago
Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 8 | Flavor - 8 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 8
On tap at brewpub.
Appearance: dark brown close to black in the color with a bar pour's kind of white foamy head which swiftly died off and didn't leave any lace
Aroma: milk chocolate whiffs, roasted dark malts, nice dose of coconut and some dark chocolate
Flavor: blends all the prior noted aromas together leaning towards the sweeter side; mild aftertaste of milk chocolate and coconut
Texture: light to medium bodied - perhaps a touch closer to the medium side; somewhat sessionable; nice smoothness along the tongue; finishes with the coconut and dark chocolate
Overall: I believe the brewer went for this beer smelling and tasting like a Mounds bar and they did just that. This would make a nice evening dessert beer.

Appearance - 7 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 6.5 | Texture - 7 | Overall - 6.5
On tap at the brewpub.
Appearance: dark amber to brown color with a bar pour's kind of slimming head, no lace after dissipation
Aroma: toasted nuts, some coffee tones, cocoa powder and some grassy to earthy hoppiness
Flavor: makes a decent effort to mesh the prior mentioned aromas to a semi-sweet to toasty and roasty blend and does a decent job of doing that; slight aftertaste of nuts and some grassy to earthy hops
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable; fair smoothness along my tongue; finishes crisp with the nuttiness
Overall: I thought I heard the brewer tried to go for a "dark lager" with this but with the way this beer looked, it came up a little lighter than expected.
CoastGuardVet (9444) reviewed Mulligan Porter from Valcour Brewing 2 months ago
Appearance - 7 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 7.5 | Texture - 7 | Overall - 7
On tap at the brewpub.
Appearance: dark muddy brown color with a bar pour's kind of thin white head which slid off fairly quick, no lace
Aroma: crisp nuttiness; roasted malts, slight coffee, some toast, and clean caramel/toffee malts
Flavor: combines the roastiness to the sweetness of the prior mentioned aromas fairly nice; mild aftertaste of roast, nuts and caramel character
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable; runs pretty smooth along my tongue; finishes pretty smooth and some dryness
Overall: I read that the brewer meant to do a brown ale but the brewer said this beer came out to be a porter. To me, I somewhat see that. It's worthy to come back to.

Can to becher glass.
Appearance: amber in color with a two and a half fingers of eggshell white foamy head which slid off nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: great dose of caramel malts with cinnamon, nutmeg & maple syrup, subtle grassy hoppiness underneath
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas together sweetly and spicy, mild aftertaste of caramel & cinnamon
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable; fair smoothness along tongue; finishes with the smooth caramel malts and subtle touch of cinnamon
Overall: to me a very nice Winter or holiday lager I would have again and could have with whatever holiday food one would want with it.

Can to nonic glass.
Appearance: dark brown close to black with a three finger eggshell white foamy head which slid off nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: dark roasted malts, light coffee, some citrusy hop notes, light piney hop notes and that subtle crisp orangey hop undertone which popped nicely as I hoped something like that would
Flavor: blended the prior noted aromas together very nicely with a mild roasty coffee tone to it; subtle aftertaste of citrusy & piney hops the smooth coffee beans
Texture: light to medium bodied, good as a sipper; firm bitterness striking my tongue but not overly done; finishes roasty, piney and that ever so slight orangey hop zing
Overall: very nice Black IPA I would have again, seems like it's on it's way of being a palate wrecker of sorts! Just need the appearance to look a little more darker

Overall: worthy pumpkin ale to come back to in Autumn
